TRY-OUT INFORMATION

The Niagara Falls Canucks will be holding try-out camps in August to fill roster positions for the 80-09 season as well as the 09-10 season.

A try-out camp will be held August 16th and 17th at the Ice Factory of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and August 23rd and 24th in Niagara Falls at Memorial Arena.

Accommodations is available at substantially discounted rates at both Orlando and Niagara Falls.

Canucks Head Into 08-09 With New Ownership Partners

At a press conference held at Memorial Arena on Monday, July 14th 2008 it was announced that Tim and Terry Masterson, owners of the Niagara Falls Canucks have sold a majority interest in the team to Power Play Sports and Entertainment. Power Play Sports and Entertainment is headed up by Kevin Zimic, a businessman from St. Catharines, David Cole, a former coach and GM in the GHL, and David Michalski, a Florida based businessman.

Tim and Terry who both played as Canucks themselves took over the team from their father, Russell Masterson when he passed away in 1982 and have ran the team since, Tim as president and Terry as head coach. The new group is committed to keeping up the ...view more
